| Tourist Guide of Monterosso |
| Monterosso is situated to the extreme west of the towns that form the Cinque Terre. It lies at the center of a small natural gulf, protected by an artificial reef. To the west, beyond the Capuchin Hill, lies the town of Fegina, a tourist and seaside resort that represents a natural expansion of the little original hamlet. Fegina can be easily reached by a tunnel a few meters long. The railway station is nearby. Wider beaches can be found in this area, as opposed to the narrow cliffs that characterize the other villages of the Cinque Terre. The municipality is part both of the Mountain Community of the Spezian Coast and the Cinque Terre National Park. |
